Rees Kindergarten students enjoyed a fun field day where they got to do several different activities, including making a bird feeder. A huge THANK YOU to our parent volunteers who helped make this activity such a success! All the students had so much fun!!
Last week, we had some special visitors from Maple Mountain High School. Members of the football team came to our school to read with students and do some fun activities. It was fun to see them interact so well with our Rees Eagles. Thank you Maple Mountain Football for coming for a visit!
Students at Rees Elementary worked hard to Serve and Support during the school's S.O.A.R Week by donating food items to Tabitha's Way, a local food pantry in Spanish Fork. Mariela Pastrana from Tabitha's Way was so grateful to the students and families of Rees for their generosity.

Rees students enjoyed a fun, interactive dance assembly from the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company. Professional dancers performed and taught students all about the different aspects of contemporary dance. It was so fun to see all the different ways our bodies can move through dance.
During S.O.A.R week, students celebrated Aim High to Achieve by writing academic goals to put in a time capsule that they will open at the end of this school year. The goals each student wrote said, "I want to be able to __________ by the end of this year." We are excited to see all the great things students accomplish during the year!
This week, Rees 2nd grade students proved that they know how to serve and support. They spent some time picking up garbage all around the school grounds. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication to helping keeping our school looking great! WAY to go Eagles!
