The last two weeks, students wrote things they are thankful for on a turkey feather and it was added to our gratitude station. Our students showed that we all have a lot to be grateful for.
Today Rees Kindergarten students enjoyed a Thanksgiving Feast. They enjoyed lots of good food and had some fun activities to celebrate Thanksgiving. A HUGE thank you to all the volunteers and donations to make this fun day possible. Happy Thanksgiving!
This week our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students were able to attend basketball game. Students had a great time cheering on the BYU women's basketball team to a victory over Arizona State. Thanks to everyone who made this fun field trip possible for our school!
Mrs. Hirst's class celebrated the letter "P" by making pancakes, having a parade, using "p" words to determine how many times the remote control car went around the track, and eating popcorn while watching a video that started with the letter "p". It was a Friday Fun Day to remember!
This week Rees students had some visitors come for an assembly honoring all the men and women who have and are currently serving in the military. Students wrote letters and did some art to share with the veterans.
We are so grateful to ALL the current military personnel and ALL veterans for your service to our country!
This week Mr. Ekker's class joined Mrs. Hirst's class and had some fun singing while Mr. Ekker played the ukulele. The kids had so much fun!!

The assembly was so entertaining with lots of cheering and fun! A huge thank you to The Stunt Masters for putting on such a great show!
Congratulations to our Rees Eagles who were selected by their teacher for student of the month in October! One student from each class received this award. These students are doing a GREAT job of SOARing! Keep up the wonderful work Eagles!
The PBS KIDS Reading Marathon is taking place during the month of November. Children (ages preschool - 6th grade) are encouraged to read 20 minutes per day or 600 minutes total throughout the month. From December 1-15 parents will then go on to our PBS website and log their minutes for AMAZING prizes around town during 2022!
Each Reading Marathon participant will receive a personalized Adventure Pass which will give them the following:
