There were several pictures from this group that could not be loaded into the website because the files were too large. If you know a picture was taken and it is not here, you could notify Mrs. Tew at firstname.lastname@example.org and she can email it to you. : )
For a jolly good time, just take a bus load or two of great Kindergarten children and their parents up hobble Creek Canyon to Jolley's Ranch. They searched for many things on their lists and found many other things that were not on their lists. They chose a stick and used it to create a picture. They made foam insects, ran races, and constructed bird callers. It was jolly good fun! you shou
Friday, the 19th of April was not a good day for Humpty Dumpty. He and several of his siblings experienced the heart break, and sometimes the shell break of being hurled off of the roof. Mr, Pitcher and helpers took bag loads of Humpties up on the roof and then threw them as high as he could make them go. Luckily, Kindergarten students and their families had invented protective devices for their little eggheads. Outcomes were sometimes positive and sometimes not so positive. Regardless, it was a good experience in brainstorming, hypothesizing, inventing, and then testing.
Rees students had the honor of seeing and hearing their very own RAD drummers perform. The assembly consisted of a traditional song, a song made up by a former RAD drummer, and a song made of individual original rhythms. Parents, grandparents and students really enjoyed the talents of these young drummers. Teachers even had to get in on the action!
