Rees-sponsible students got the privilege of watching Rich Wieber and his son perform bicycle stunts in a recent reward assembly.  These talented stunt riders showed students what they could do with their bikes, and what they could do physically by living healthy drug free lives.  Mr. Wieber told the story of how he worked and saved to buy his first bike.  He is a great example of setting a goal and working to obtain it.  The younger stunt rider showed the students what practice can do for you.  He was able to jump over two staff members, Mr. Burraston and Mr.

The 6th had the great opportunity to listen to Janene Woolsey Baadsgaard.  She taught us about the writing process.  She  gave us inspiration to follow our dreams, and work hard!  It was fun to hear her talk about how she got her first book published.  She has published 14 books.

Monday , October 22nd, Rees students were rewarded for good behavior and encouraged to read every day as they participated in a magic show.  Students earned the right to attend through acting REES-spectfully.  Magician Paul Brewer  "ooooed" and "aaaaawed" students with his tricks.  Some of the students even got to be his assistants in magic.  They got to choose a book for helping with the show.
