CALLING ALL ARTISTS!!
We will be holding an art contest at the school for the next couple weeks. The purpose of the contest is to find a student art piece to display at the district office. We may end up using more than one or even rotating the art work through the year. Here are the details:
Mrs. Hirst's class had an extremely fun day last Friday when they were able to go on their first field trip this year. They went to BYU where they played and had fun and then went to the All-Abilities Park for more fun in the sun. The students are looking forward to more field trips very soon!
Rees Elementary 5th grade students shared their state fair projects to other Rees students and their parents/family members last week. The students did a wonderful job and were very creative with their work. Way to Aim High to Achieve Eagles!
We investigated our fingerprints today. We learned which type of finger print we had. Then we compared our fingerprint with a partner. It is amazing that everyone has different fingerprints!
Last Friday, our school had a FANTASTIC carnival to raise money to help support our students this year. It was a HUGE success and completely surpassed our expectations! We are so grateful for the support of our wonderful PTA, parents and grandparents, businesses around the community, as well as Rees staff who helped make this such a great success! It was so much fun to see so many Rees families having fun together. The money raised will go towards field trips, assemblies, supplies, and other things needed to help student achievement this school year.
