Yesterday, all of our Rees students got to see a fire truck and police car up close and personal. They also got to spend time listening and learning about what our local fire department and police department do to keep our city safe. The students enjoyed this visit very much!
For the month of October, 2nd grade star students were awarded for honesty. Way to go friends! Keep up the great work!
Students or parents can purchase Ghosty Grams from the student council before school and during lunch every day this week.
Our wonderful PTA has put together a fun week to stand against drugs and bullying. Attached is a list of the dress-up days. Each day that the students dress up, they will receive a ticket and and be entered into a drawing for prizes at the end of the week. Let's have a GREAT week!
Our Scholastic Book Fair is going on all week, October 18-October 21st. Please come see all the great books that are for sale!

Congratulations to our Rees Eagles who were selected by their teacher for student of the month! One student from each class received the first student of the month award for this year. These students are doing a GREAT job of SOARing and showing that they know how to Serve and Support, Own their Actions and Words, Aim High to Achieve, and show Respect! Keep up the fantastic work Eagles!
