Mr. Mendenhall is leaving Rees Elementary after teaching here for 25 years! He has been an absolutely fabulous teacher and really knows how to engage his students with fun activities, group work, and technology. He is known for all his fun puppets, green screen, chess tournaments, and many other fun ways he encouraged and taught his class.  He will be missed here at Rees, but we wish him all the best as he transfers to Mt. Nebo to teach science. His coworkers had this to say about him:

"Tim is an enthusiastic teacher!  He loves the kids he teaches and tries to make fun and engaging activities for them.  He has gathered an amazing book collection-And has so many "fun" science and math interactive manipulatives.  I am so happy for him to be able to teach science classes all day.  He is very passionate about the sciences and the students he teaches will love having him as a teacher!"

"Over the years, I have come to love Tim.  Not just as an educator but a friend.  He was one of the first to welcome me to Rees and has held an integral part of my experience here.  He is a passionate educator!  It does not matter what the subject is, he throws his whole heart and soul into it.  He has one of the most creative minds!  I've been impressed with the creativity that he applies to his classroom and how he uses it to enhance Rees.  I will miss our early morning chats and our after-school venting sessions.  I wish the best of luck to Tim and his future endeavours."

Best wishes to him as he move on to this new adventure!
