Our Rees Eagles had a great opportunity to learn more about caring for their school and the community by planting three new trees. On Monday, October 19th, 4th-6th grade students worked with TreeUtah, a non-profit organization dedicated to planting trees, to add two honey locusts and one bosnian pine to beautify our campus. Students were taught about how trees can help our community, and how to help the trees grow. They then helped spread the roots, added nutrients to the soil, filled in the dirt, watered the trees, and mulched the base of each tree.

Congratulations to all the Rees Students of the Month!
Rees students had a successful week as they practiced what they have been learning for the past month. All of the classes had the opportunity to Serve and Support, Own Their Actions and Words, Aim High to Achieve, and show Respect. Today they had a big celebration by taking a break from their masks to enjoy a popsicle outside with their classes. Great job SOARing Rees Eagles!
Rees 2nd grade classes wrote thank you notes to our local EMTs. We think they are some of the bravest people for helping others when they are hurt or sick. Thank you for serving and supporting our community!
Our 5th grade students did a service project for the SF Police Dept. They signed a Star Wars poster, and labeled it "May The (Police) Force Be With You!" They also bought donuts for all of the Police department. We are grateful for our Spanish Fork Police officers and all they do to keep us safe!
