The sixth grade students held a basketball tournament earlier this week. The top 2 teams would compete against the teachers on Thursday morning. It was a nail biter at the end but the teachers pulled it off. Fun was had by all!

In our class we celebrated Star Wars day, but instead of celebrating May the Fourth we celebrated Revenge of the Fifth (Revenge of the Sith). Revenge of the Fifth was fun. There was a lot of laughter and a lot of work. First, we all did Star Wars Just Dance. We all danced and it was fun. It was like a huge dance off. Afterwards we were all tired. Mrs. James let us have a 30 sec break but then we went right back to dancing. Second, we did math.
Friday was the Rees Reading Carnival. Students had been earning tickets to spend at the carnival since January. The amount of tickets that each student received was based on how much reading had been done at home. Many activities and purchasing options were available to students to participate in. Here are a few of them:
