Submitted by heidi.groneman on Tue, 11/01/2022 - 13:50

Rees Elementary students had the opportunity to listen to spooky stories that had been written, recorded and coded by fourth graders. The students put on some headphones, lifted sections of an illustration, and the story began to read to them. Our fourth graders are AMAZING! Way to Aim High to Achieve!

Fourth Grade Book Club

Submitted by heidi.groneman on Thu, 10/27/2022 - 14:20

The fourth grade students participated in a book club this past month. Students chose a book, read each day, and met weekly to discuss the book in student led groups. Each book showcased a character who had to deal with a lot of struggle, because of the beliefs of others around them. However, each character showed strength, perseverance, and patience through the struggle in a variety of ways. As a book club group, students discussed how the character from their book overcame struggle.
