Miss Ledingham's class has been studying volcanoes.  There are three types of volcanoes and they are shield volcanoes, cone volcanoes and the strato/composite volcanoes.  We were sorted into 6 groups.  Two groups did the shield volcano, two did the cinder cone volcano and two did the strato volcano.  We made presentation slides and volcanoes out of clay.  Finally we went into a first grade class to present our slides and explode the volcanoes. It was really cool to see how each one exploded!
