The afternoon of Tuesday, May 7th, 2019, Mrs. Memmott's OEK class was the lucky beneficiary of a local Eagle Scout project.  Jacob Cooper, a senior from Maple Mountain High School, and also a scout from Troop 1523, collected donations and funds and organized friends and neighbors to help provide a large set of classic building blocks for the kindergartners in her class.  Mrs. Memmott's classes have used the same wooden blocks since Rees opened at the new building in 2003.  Now that amount of blocks has more than doubled and the new additions are precisely hand-cut and beautifully hand-sanded to perfection.  Mr. Gull made time to be on hand to express appreciation on behalf of the school and, as a picture is worth 1,000 words, you can see for yourself how pleased and happy our students are!  The blocks are a huge hit!
