Rees Student Council Members have created and organized a week to focus on KINDESS.  Starting next week, each day will be focused on some kind of kindness.  We hope to see everyone participate!

2/27  Monday:  “Mahalo Monday”

-Please wear a Hawaiian Shirt or a bright color to kick-off our Kindness week.

Each student will receive a lei to remind them to use polite words such as ‘please’, ‘thank you’, and ‘you’re welcome’.

2/28 Tuesday: “Teamwork Tuesday”

-Wear your favorite team  jersey

Students will participate in a team project (with their classrooms) to spread kindness in some way at our school.

3/1  Wednesday:  “We Matter Wednesday”

-Dress like an undercover detective

Students will be given a ‘Secret Mission’ where they are challenged to perform a Random Act of Kindness at home or at school.

3/2 Thursday: “Thoughtful Thursday”

- Wear your hat to school!

Students will be given note paper to write notes of appreciation to people at our school.  There will be a table set up by the cafeteria where Student Council Members will collect notes during the morning and at lunch. The notes are free to send and will not include candy.

3/3 Friday: “Friendship Friday”

-Wear your school colors or t-shirts and show your Rees Eagle Pride!

Students are asked to look for ways to include others and make new friends at Rees!
