Rees students were entertained with a visit from a couple of the members from the Harlem Globetrotters!  Peewee and Hollywood taught us about how to be responsible and why it’s important for us to have that characteristic.  Students were asked to give an example of how to be responsible.  Here are a few of their responses:

“Taking care of your Android or iPhone.”

“Doing your homework.”

And a favorite among teachers was: “Not yelling at your teacher.”

Students also heard about the Statue of Responsibility project.  As we have many individuals interested and involved in the project in our area, we are providing you the opportunity to donate yourself, if you choose.  If so, please select the Donate Now option on the statuefund.org website.  Our wish is not to use this as a school fundraiser at this time.
