Pumpkins are not just for carving!

We had a great Math Pumpkin activity!  We predicted, measured, weighed, and guessed how many pumpkin seeds there were in our pumpkins.  Then we counted out the number of seeds in our pumpkins by putting the seeds into groups of 10.  It is always amazing to everyone that just because a pumpkin is bigger than another, it doesn't mean that it is going to have more seeds that a smaller pumpkin.
