Magician Paul Brewer Visits Rees to Reward Good Behavior and Reading

Magician Paul Brewer stopped by Rees Elementary to deliver his gut busting magic and comedy routine to the students.  Children from K-6 that had good behavior by making good choices this year attended the assembly.  Teachers and students alike were laughing and laughing at Brewer's non-stop tricks and jokes.  Some lucky students even got books and other prizes from the visitor.

Paul Brewer had a message to share with students as well.   He repeatedly told them throughout his presentation to be kind to each other and to read all the time.  He told them that because he knew how to read, he could learn how to juggle from a book.  He was also assisted by the Ken Garff Road to Success mascot Chief the dog.  Chief handed out high fives and hyped up the students for reading, even participating in one of Brewer's jokes.

Teachers and students love assemblies like this because it helps the students see that making good choices, being kind, and reading has wonderful benefits.  The fun and laughter serve as evidence of that.
