A few days ago Mrs. James and Mr. M’s class made hot air balloons for science. Some of them were a success, others were not. Some went very far, to the train tracks! Others only went a couple of feet. Most of them went really high like over the school! Some only went high like over the fence. Some of the balloons had a great shape but others not. We found out that the best shape was a light bulb shape and the rectangular prism shape. The rectangular prism one went to the train tracks. All the kids had a great time and enjoyed flying them over and over again.
