We are sad to see Mr. Goodman leave Rees.  He has been so great to work with and has done a wonderful job with the students here at Rees.  Co-workers said this about Jordan, 

"Jordan made every collaboration meeting fun. He was always joking and teasing everyone."

"Jordan was so great with the students he worked with.  He was always finding ways to make them feel comfortable and to make sure they were safe and happy.  We will miss him in collaboration and seeing his smiling face around the school and on the playground." 

We are happy to announce the Student Council for next school year.  We want to first Thank all of our students that applied and submitted videos.  We wish we could have all of you on student council.  This was a very hard decision to make for the committee.  We appreciate their time and feedback to help in the decision making process. 

Mrs. Davis has been such a fantastic part of our Rees team for the past three years.  All the students loved going to PE and enjoyed the many fun activities Mrs. Davis planned for them.  She always had a smile for everyone she came in contact with. Coworkers had this to say about her,

Laverne is retiring after working for Nebo School District for the past 17 years. She has been a wonderful member of our Rees team and she will be greatly missed! Here are some memories and thoughts from coworkers:

Free Summer Meals

The Utah Food Bank is offering the Free Summer Meals Program again this year in four of Nebo School District communities. This year will be a drive-thru program with two meals provided on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Who: Youth up to 18 years

What: Free Healthy Lunch

Dates: Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays, June 1 - August 14

We want to give a HUGE shout out to Myra Lomax as she leaves our school. Myra has been a wonderful asset to our Rees Team over the past year.  She has helped so many students progress in reading as she has worked with small groups in the Steps reading program and Heggerty, as well as helping with 3rd grade math iinterventions.  She always has a BIG smile on her face and was willing to help in any way she could.  Her co-workers had this to say about her,

Congratulations to our 2020 Kindergarten graduates!  Mrs. Chidester and Ms. Putnam hosted a drive-by graduation today. Students were able to say goodbye to these two AMAZING teachers.  Thank you students and teachers for all your hard work this year!
