Submitted by heidi.groneman on

Third graders worked on building the tallest "Christmas Tree" for Fun Friday last week! Their building materials consisted of gumdrops, toothpicks, and three large marshmallows. It was a tricky challenge, but two teams tied for the tallest freestanding structure at 9 inches each. The winning teams were with Brikelle, Pressley, Danna, Esteban, CJ, Callen, Lizzy, Betzy, Kaden, and Jack. Nice work!

The Rees Elementary annual gingerbread house winners were picked today during a school assembly.  All students were given a ticket earlier this week and put their ticket in a drawing for their favorite gingerbread house.  The winners take their prize home to enjoy during the holidays! Congratulations students! Thank you Rees staff for such fantastic houses this year!
