Mrs. Nixon - First Grade Teacher

Submitted by angie.keisel on

I have been teaching 1st grade for 8 years at Rees.  I got my degree from the University of Utah.  I am married, and my  husband’s name is Mike.  I have two children names Michael and Caitlyn.  I love to play volleyball, bike ride and hike.  I also love to travel and see new things and I love to go to the theater.

Some fun facts about Mrs. Nixon:

I like red, but I don’t like brown.

I like Mexican food, but I don’t like spinach.

This is my 12th year of teaching.  Third grade the whole time because they are the best!  I love to read.  I love traveling.  I’ve been to all the states except ALaska and my favorite international destinations have been Switzerland and Italy.  I love to go on bike rides, do puzzles, eat good food, and sleep in.

I like blue and pink, but I don’t like pink and red together.

I like pancakes, but I don’t like pickles.

I like basketball, but I don’t like baseball.
